The Pioneer Christmas at Fowler Park is really GREAT! You get to arrive in your “modern-day” vehicle, then step back in time INSTANTLY by walking into the park along a candle- or lantern-lit pathway!
There is a blacksmith cabin, a chapel with good, old-time gospel music by live musicians, candles, I can’t remember all of it, but ask me again in December and I will!
All the buildings have warm fires in the fireplace and there are crafts or treats in many of them made by hand or OVER the fireplace (such as hot apple cider)! One building has musicians playing and the covered bridge at Fowler Park offers a photo op with Santa and Mrs. Claus (sometimes Mrs. Claus has to remain back at the North Pole).
It is a wonderful experience that you need to go to at least ONCE but maybe every year after that!
