VCPRD VISION STATEMENT:
The vision of the Vigo County Parks Department is to meet the
recreation and leisure needs of Vigo County citizens and visitors,
leading to a heightened quality of life.

VCPRD MISSION STATEMENT:
The mission of the Vigo County Parks and Recreation Department
is to improve quality of life and provide meaningful experiences
for the citizens of Vigo County through expertly maintained areas
and facilities, environmental education, accessible water, and
preservation of the environment allowing for recreation, social
activity, exploration, and solitude.
