Fowler Park Christmas Walk
The Vigo County Parks Department is seeking volunteers for our annual Christmas Walk on December 5 and 6. This is one of our biggest events of the year that draws a big crowd, and any help is greatly appreciated! Here are more details of the event:

Friday, December 5th 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Saturday, December 6th 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m

Location: Fowler Park, 3000 E Oregon Church Rd.

Description: “Step back in time to explore our 19th-century Pioneer Village and meet our village volunteers as they share how Christmas was celebrated in the 1800s. Shop handmade items in our Village Mercantile, take a photo with Santa and Mrs. Claus, explore the historic Pioneer Cabins, and enjoy crafts, concessions, and more! Plus, on December 5 only, enjoy festive carriage rides and a special visit from Santa’s reindeer! This will be a perfect family event to kick off the holiday season!”
Volunteer opportunities include:

Assisting with crafts and concessions in the barn (December 5 and 6)
- Supporting Santa and Mrs. Claus photo area (December 5 and 6)

Managing carriage rides (December 5 only)
